Cascada Bar & Grill is Denise Dutwiler's third restaurant and the second located here in Creede.  This is her first restaurant and the only restaurant in Mineral County which has been designed from the ground up to maximize your dining experience.  Denise has fifteen years restaurant experience and over 25 years experience in business.  Her love for cooking, insistence on only the best and freshest ingredients and her innate knowledge of what makes a business successful makes eating at Cascada a truly delightful experience.

A frequent visitor to Mexico, she has traveled throughout the country sampling foods, testing new ingredients and talking with her fellow chefs. For the last several years ago she has been a part time resident of Mexico. She enjoys shopping in the local markets and learning to cook with authentic ingredients.

Denise has blended the techniques from three kitchens: Mexican, Tex-Mex and American to create a cuisine as intriguing and complex as Mexico’s own baroque heritage. Mexican cuisine is always evolving. Whether it is the original staples of corn and beans, or the new ingredients and spices which have introduced over the last 600 years Denise seeks to bring all of that history to your plate.
